    Therapy for Professionals & Students

Experiences with adversity increase our susceptibility to burnout, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. This is normal and reaching out takes a lot of courage. You are not alone and there is hope for a better tomorrow.

"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion."
    -Dalai Lama

Whether you are a professional, a student,  in healthcare, or you just want compassion-focused care, Compassionate Voice Counseling can guide you to grow, heal, and thrive by helping you learn to effectively challenge the negative internal voices that come from experiencing toxic or traumatizing environments and relationships.

Often those who have been through the most in life are the ones who are working the most diligently to help others.  Through cultivating self-compassion we learn to create an inner voice that helps us instead of continuing to harm us.  This approach is good for anyone who wants to mindfully and intentionally work through their experiences with adversity and the barriers that are holding them back from living a more satisfying life. It is especially helpful for those with trauma histories and those who are experiencing workplace burnout, bullying, secondary traumatic stress, and/or compassion fatigue.

You might initially be hesitant to seek out help and support, and I know that the first step is hard to take, but when you do you will be so glad you did!
