Finding Our Center
A Community Meditation Series for Anger & Unrest
Finding Our Center is a free, in-person community meditation series offered in downtown Greensboro during the month of March. This series is sponsored by Compassionate Voice Counseling and will be guided by Sabrina Basquez, MSW, LCSW, EMDR-C.
This gathering is a moment of silent meditation and reflection on the political unrest impacting our communities at this time. The intention is not discussion or debate, but shared presence, grounded reflection and community.
This is an inclusive, neurodivergent-friendly meditation space. Participants are encouraged to bring anything that supports reflection and presence, including journals, coloring books, grounding objects, or other quiet supports. It is also encouraged that you bring blankets and camping chairs for sitting.
