Gender & Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy for College Students in Greensboro, North Carolina
Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to get through the day, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Reaching out for therapy is a powerful first step toward feeling more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.
I specialize in therapy for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent college students who are navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and the stress of balancing school, work, and relationships. I also have a special place in my heart for supporting adults from military families (Military BRATS) who may be carrying the weight of frequent moves, shifting relationships, and the pressure of expectations that don’t always fit who they are.
Whether you’re exploring gender identity, sexuality, or neurodivergence, adjusting to dorm life, juggling academics, or struggling with anxiety and depression, therapy can provide a safe place to pause, process, and find strategies that work for you.
My Approach to Therapy
I don’t believe you need to be “fixed,” because you are not broken. My role is to provide a safe, affirming space where you can:
-
Slow down and explore what’s beneath the surface
-
Build coping skills for stress, anxiety, and depression
-
Feel more at home in your body and identity
-
Strengthen your relationships and boundaries
-
Discover ways to show up authentically in your life
I bring a collaborative, down-to-earth, trauma-informed approach to therapy. While I use evidence-based methods, I also lean into the healing power of humor, storytelling, and being truly seen. You are safe to bring your full self into our work, including your history, culture, and community.
Safe, Inclusive Counseling for LGBTQIA+, Gender Diverse, and Neurodivergent Students
I work with:
-
-
LGBTQIA+ individuals exploring identity, gender transition, and a deeper sense of belonging
-
Neurodivergent adults and students who want support with executive functioning, sensory needs, and managing daily stress
-
College students navigating academics, social life, and the pressures of independence
-
Adults from military families (Military BRATS) adjusting to frequent moves, losses, or instability
-
Young adults and caregivers who have been told they’re “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “too complicated,” and want a safe space to finally be their full selves
-
Let’s Work Together
Therapy isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about creating a safe space to be real, be supported, and move toward the life you want. If you’re ready to start your journey toward healing, resilience, and self-acceptance, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
