OCD, Neurodivergence, Trauma, & Gender-Affirming Therapy for College Students in Greensboro, North Carolina
Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to get through the day, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Reaching out for therapy is a powerful first step toward feeling more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.
I specialize in OCD, neurodivergence, trauma, and gender-affirming therapy for college students and young adults. My work is rooted in creating a space where clients can explore their identities, process what feels heavy, and build practical tools for living with more freedom and authenticity.
I provide evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — the gold-standard, research-supported approach for OCD. I completed intensive ERP training through our partner, Greater Hope Center for OCD, to help clients break free from intrusive thoughts and compulsive cycles so they can regain control and peace of mind.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients heal from trauma, chronic stress, and painful life experiences. EMDR allows the brain and body to reprocess distressing memories, promoting emotional regulation and self-trust.
For clients exploring gender identity or experiencing gender dysphoria, I offer gender-affirming therapy grounded in compassion, validation, and respect. My goal is to help you feel at home in your identity and supported in whatever steps you choose on your journey toward authenticity.
Whether you’re managing OCD, unpacking trauma, exploring your identity, or learning to embrace your neurodivergence, therapy can help you slow down, gain clarity, and cultivate self-compassion.
My Approach to Therapy
I don’t believe you need to be “fixed,” because you are not broken. My role is to create a collaborative, affirming space where you can:
-
Understand and manage OCD through ERP
-
Heal from trauma using EMDR and trauma-informed care
-
Explore gender identity and find support for gender dysphoria
-
Develop strategies for navigating neurodivergent challenges
-
Strengthen self-acceptance, relationships, and boundaries
I bring a grounded, relational, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. While I use evidence-based techniques, I also value humor, creativity, and authentic connection as part of the healing process. You are safe to bring your full self into our work — your history, culture, and community all belong here.
